--------------- All About Bob ---------------
Bob Green's love of music came at a young age. In about the seventh or eighth
grade, his voice went down about two to three steps. His love of music was not
that of a singer, but that of DJ on the radio, playing the music. After high
school in the early 60's, Uncle Sam was calling. That was not the time to start
looking for a job in radio, so Bob took a job that would last the next four years
in the U.S. Coast Guard.

While stationed in a small town on the Oregon coast (Brookings), Bob met
some local musicians, and  started singing just for the fun of it.
When someone said I'll pay you to sing, well that was a no-brainer...
Good-Bye radio and hello SHOW-BIZ....

His first band was called "Jolly
Green And The Giants." Then the British
came, and the music had to change. He was only going to do  music from
British groups. The name of the band had to change also. Guess what name he
came up with?"Gang-
Green and the Infections" ........ I know -- YUK!!!!! This
was all while still in the Coast Guard.

Well, that's how it all got started, and people are still  paying him to sing,
over 40 years later. During those years, yes, he did get to play songs on the radio
as a DJ.

We could list all the places he has performed, and all the bands, but the proof is
not so much where he has been, but where he is now.

For
Bob Green, the prescription for success has always been easy. Take finely
crafted melodies, expertly sung, by a remarkably gifted singer , and then share
them with a loyal and appreciative audience.

Always experimenting, he selects the songs that celebrate and savor life's
pleasures, and the ordinary miracles that make each day special.
Bob is influenced by the singing masters of music.
Neil Diamond, Sinatra, Dean
Martin, Engelbert, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Bobby Darin, Johnny Mathis,

well you get the idea.

If you have been to one of Bob's show, you know what a talented entertainer he
is, if not, please make a point to see him when you can. You won't regret it..
